She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
Proverbs 31:25
Our desire in having a Women's Ministry is to help every woman at New Hope become a strong woman of God. We want to encounter Jesus in a fresh way, be challenged to include Him in all of life, and lead the next generation to be disciple makers. Through challenging, equipping, and empowering the women of our church to lead and serve, we desire to see healthy marriages and thriving families.

Bible Studies
The Women’s Ministry offers two Bible studies which meet in the fall and spring semesters. One study meets Wednesday mornings at New Hope with JAM (Jesus and Me) Time available for young children. The other study meets Monday evenings at New Hope. The topic changes each fall and spring.
Conferences and Retreats
Women’s conferences are scheduled every other year to foster a time of fellowship and spiritual growth for the women of New Hope. These often include an engaging speaker and meal.
Mentoring
We see mentoring relationships as an important part of each woman's spiritual journey. As part of our efforts to connect younger women with older mentors, we offer an Ornaments of Grace class a couple times during the year. Ornaments of Grace is a 7-week Bible-based topical mentoring study for young, married women. Older mentors and younger mentees gather together once a week to study the Word, learn a new recipe or two, and foster potential mentoring relationships. Check the Women's Ministry calendar for the next class.
Crafters
Caring women spread God's blessings by making hats and scarves for the homeless and hats for the College Care Packages. They rely on donations of yarn to accomplish this. All are welcome to come! Learn how to knit, crochet, loom knit, or just share in fellowship and prayer.
Prayer Sisters
This is a group of women who encourage and pray for one another throughout the year. We anonymously share our concerns (and praises) with our sister knowing that extra prayers will be sent out. We give gifts and enjoy fellowship without a big time commitment. Names are exchanged once a year at our July reveal party.
Service Opportunities
The women of New Hope are committed to serving our church and community. There are so many opportunities to serve within our church family and in our community throughout the year. If you have specific questions about getting involved - or you would like to find a place for you or your D Group to serve, we encourage you to reach out!
Events
Our Women's Ministry Leadership plans a lot of special events for the women of New Hope. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other women, encourage each other in our walks with Christ, and go deeper in our faith. Be on the lookout for the next event and sign up with a friend! If you have questions - or an idea for a women's event - contact one of the women from our team below:
