Disciples Making Disciples
The mission of New Hope Christian Church (Whitestown) is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. In other words, our Mission is "Disciples Making Disciples." Our goal is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
At New Hope, we strive to create life-changing services that point everyone to the greatness and love of God. We want to clearly and consistently communicate the Good News of Jesus to all who gather with us, being disciples making disciples.

We value Biblical Authority
The Bible is our authority in life as individual followers of Jesus and as a church family. We believe that the Bible is the perfect word of God. We submit wholeheartedly to the authority of the Bible. We will present God's Word with grace and truth
(John 1:14) (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We Value Missions
New Hope has always partnered with others in the work of the Gospel (Philippians 1:5). We work with missionaries both locally and globally. We embrace opportunities to support ministries and missionaries who glorify God and lead people to Jesus (Matthew 28:16-20). We generously give of our time, talents, and resources to help fulfill the mission that God has for New Hope (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).

We Value family culture
We value being a church family where people are known and loved. We work hard to help New Hope feel like a family. We believe that people were created to be in relationship with one another for the purpose of glorifying God (Acts 2:44-47, Luke 6:12-13). Like a healthy family, we work to maintain unity in all essentials while gracefully loving one another when we differ on the non-essentials (Ephesians 4:4-6).

We Value transparency
We value living lives of integrity and sincerity (2Corinthians 1:12-14). As one author has said, “Transparency means that the appearance and the reality are exactly the same” (Oswald Chambers). We will work hard to be a place of honesty and trustworthiness.

We Value leading pastorally
Jesus modeled and taught that leadership in the church is about “serving others and not being served” (Matthew 20:28). Leadership in the church is about caring for and serving people for the glory of God (1Peter 5:1-2). This pastoral approach to leading requires leaders to know their people. We value our leadership being accessible to and involved in the lives of our church family.
