Prayer Request Form
“Rejoice always, Pray continually, Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Prayer is foundational to our faith in God, as communication is essential to any relationship. Martin Luther once said, “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” Trusting that God not only hears our silent thoughts and quiet words but acts upon them is almost unbelievable. But those of us who have seen our prayers answered know there is power in praying in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus, we have direct access to God the Father through prayer. We can also take comfort in knowing the Holy Spirit also prays for us when we don’t have the words to say.
“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” - Ephesians 6:18
As a Church, it is our duty, a gift from God, and our privilege to pray with and for one another as often and as specific as we can. If you are signed up for our newsletter, you will receive a weekly prayer update that includes requests that have been submitted and approved for publication. We hope this gives you the opportunity to know the current prayer requests of our church and community and to create a space to invite others to pray alongside you.
