New Hope Student Ministry

We are so glad you are here!

New Hope’s Student Ministry is a community of middle and high school students (6th-12th grade) seeking an ever-deepening relationship with Jesus. Students meet throughout the week in large and small group settings to foster accountability, community, Biblical understanding, and purpose. In addition to weekly gatherings, students are encouraged to participate in retreats, service projects, and other events that afford a broader understanding of the mission of Jesus.

What's Going on This Summer?

Summer schedules often look a little different for us all. Our activities for middle and high school students change in the summer, too. Your students are invited to share in the fun! All events treat students as the grade that they will be entering in the fall of 2024. Check out the summer calendar and register below!

Sunday Mornings

6th - 8th grade students meet upstairs in the attic during the 9:00am service.
9th - 12th grade students meet in room 101 during the 9:00am service.

Sunday Nights

During the school year, 9th - 12th grade students are invited to church from 7:00-9:00pm Sundays.
This is a time of fellowship, fun, and intimate Bible Study.

Wednesday Nights

During the school year, 6th - 12th grade students meet Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm in the Student Center for games, worship, and teaching. We have fun together on Wednesday Nights and would love to see your students there!

Matt Thompson, Student Minister

Hi, I’m Matt! I am married to my wonderful wife, Caroline. We live in Brownsburg, where I coach middle school basketball. I am also a huge Dallas sports fan, a Star Wars nut, and an avid cross stitcher. I love getting to serve with students each and every day. I can’t wait to meet you on a Sunday morning!
