The Together Initiative

New Hope’s Together Initiative is a 24-month campaign prioritizing unity, discipleship, family, community, and missions. As we join Together as family in prayer, giving, and serving, our aim is to welcome and walk with the people in our rapidly growing community as they experience the love of Jesus Christ.

This plan will include a new auditorium, more adult classroom space, an expanded lobby, more parking, and the conversion of our current auditorium for more kid's classrooms.

Living on Mission, Together

We invite you to prayerfully consider your participation in this journey. As we have shared in various settings, this is not about a building. This initiative is about living on mission to reach those who are lost, hurting, and suffering without Christ. Our intent is to strengthen each of us in our walk of faith as we live out our personal and collective mission to make disciples. It is also to support and equip families who are striving to raise their children in the Lord. As Jesus described in 1 Corinthians 12, this is only possible when we unite Together, in Him, as the body of Christ. As your Elders, we ask that you fervently seek God’s guidance in how you can sacrificially contribute to His mission through prayer, service, and financial giving.

Specifically, we ask that you pray for wisdom as New Hope seeks to honor God through these 3 goals:
- 100% campaign participation
- Being Debt-Free at the end of the Together Initiative
- Positioning the church to be able to plant other independent Christian Churches

Equipping the Next Generation, Together

Only God would have planted a small country church over 50 years ago, grounded firmly on the authority of His Word, and placed it in the heart of what is today, the fastest growing community in the state. Jesus’ words to His disciples are still true today … ask God to send out workers because the harvest is plentiful (Matt 9:37-38). God has given us the opportunity to sacrifice and serve Together as we join Him in reaching our community and the next generation for Christ.

As we embark on this next step of our faith journey Together, we are thankful for the mighty work God has so graciously done through New Hope and those who have sacrificed and faithfully trusted in Him. Through God’s mercy and the sacrificial faith of those before us, each of us and our families have been blessed beyond measure. It is now our time to come Together to continue the legacy of New Hope by loving the families around us in the name of Christ and joining God in reaching our growing community.

July 17, 2023 - the Crane Arrives

The crane has arrived! The walls will be going up this week. A lot of progress, but we've still got a long way to go!

May 12, 2023 - Parking Lot Demolition

Demolition began on the existing parking lot. This initial demo outlines the new Auditorium and helps to prepare for additional parking. We are now shuttling to and from Boone Meadow Elementary School for overflow parking on Sunday mornings.  This is an exciting next step in the process!

May 2, 2023 - Demo Begins

In 1996, we built the shelter house to offer a covered, outdoor meeting place for the church and for these past 27 years it has been greatly used not only by our church, but our growing community. Unfortunately, it's current location is where additional parking will be added. Although demolition is hard to see, we look forward and celebrate the beginning of a new chapter!

April 27, 2023 - New Vehicles

We have purchased 2 used vehicles to help with our growth and potential parking needs. A white 15 passenger van and a school bus not only will allow us to take larger groups on trips, but we when construction takes place, we know we will lose about 70 parking spaces. These vehicles will allow us to shuttle people from Boone Meadow Elementary School when the time comes. Thanks to the amazing volunteers who have helped drive, clean, prep, and paint these vehicles!

March 11, 2023 - Emptying Storage Shed

Thank you to our wonderful team of volunteers who helped empty the storage shed on Saturday, March 11th! We emptied several of the items that are stored in our current storage shelter on the west side of the building and put them on a trailer for a couple of weeks. We can't wait to keep serving together during this project!

January 29, 2023 - Commitment Sunday

Thank you for the faithful generosity! As of this past Sunday, we have received commitments from approximately 75%  of those currently giving! We will continue to receive your “Together Initiative” commitments on an ongoing basis over the coming weeks. Our goal continues to be 100% participation by all existing and future New Hope family members.

January 18, 2023 - More Parking

With the continued growth in Sunday morning attendance, we went ahead and added a temporary lot where a permanent lot with one day be! Moving dirt is exciting and shows the church and our community that we are moving forward and making room for more people!  Please consider parking in the new lot to free up a closer parking space to someone new or our older members through the winter!

September 25, 2022 -
Congregational Meeting

After the Congregational Meeting, the church has confirmed with a 99% vote of confirmation to move forward with the expansion plans. This plan will include a new auditorium, more adult classroom space, an expanded lobby, more parking, and the conversion of our current auditorium for more kid's classrooms. With this vote, we will move forward to begin more detailed design and costs with an architect, builder, and design team.
You can watch the congregational meeting HERE.
